Beloved, you are the reason to be happy

“The sun shines on me

The moon holds me in her gaze

I am loved

I am the Beloved.”

Thoughts from the day as I was sitting over a cup of tea. I did a guided meditation earlier today where you lean against a tree and ask for a message. For those who understand, nature is incredibly healing whether you reach out with your eyes open or closed. I’ve been a bit unwell these past few days and when you are down, it’s easy to forget how good life is. So I spend as much time as I can meditating when I’m under the weather. And these words came to me: Beloved, you are the reason to be happy. It’s quite shocking to make myself the centre of such love (particularly when I was contemplating some of my rough bits) but meditation can do that, it releases boundaries so you understand yourself as the universal beloved, and you can accept you are worthy of being loved completely as you are. Like this tree pictured here, so tall and graceful in the middle of nowhere, just being.
